Why I Love Clickbank !

David Cooper

There are a number of reasons why I like the ClickBank affiliate program. The Clickbank Marketplace is an amazing program that allows you to generate revenue, which is included in their affiliate zone. This site is friendly, and resourceful, one that generates traffic, commission sales and runs by itself.

Clickbank also features a professional design and comes fully developed as a search engine. It is fed by the Clickbank's Marketplace of over 50,000 products and businesses. The Clickbank Marketplace offers an automated database update system and Clickbank cookie features giving you commissions on sales from visitor's for up to three months after a visitor has left your site!

The commission percentage structure is based on monthly revenues through sales from your Clickbank ID. You receive a commission rate form 5-65% that is determined by the partner site. This is one place where you won't have to sit around and wait for your checks because ClickBank pays you through faster venues (like PayPal).

ClickBank not only allows you to accept credit cards on your web site without the need for a merchant account, but it also provides other ways in which you can generate income. I'll highlight five different ways you can start making money with ClickBank.

1. Become an affiliate for ClickBank products

You can easily sign up as an affiliate through their website at http://clickbank.com. Take some time to "shop" and look through the full range of products that are in their marketplace for products that you'd like to promote. For example, you can start by looking in the appropriate category on products that you have a good handle on. You should find products that match up well with your existing business and that you'll be able to promote to your mailing list.

To promote a product, you simply create a hoplink, which is designed in the following format:

http://hop.clickbank.net/hop.cgi?nickname/merchant

All you have to do is replace the word 'nickname' above with your own ClickBank nickname, and 'merchant' with the nickname of the merchant. It's that simple. If you're not sure what the nickname of the merchant is, you can always go to their sales page and get it from their sales link which will probably look like this:

http://www.clickbank.net/sell.cgi?Merchant/1/ProductName

Where 'Merchant' is the merchant's nickname. Or you can look for an automatic way to generate hoplinks by trying to find it at the page below:

2. Sell your own product through ClickBank

There's no better way of making money online than selling your own product, and with ClickBank you can start doing this very quickly and with little trouble.

You can sell up to 50 different downloadable products through ClickBank with a single account. To become a merchant costs less than $50, rather than the hundreds of dollars it often takes to set up your own merchant account.

The best part is that you will not be going it alone either. There are literally thousands of web masters that sell their products through ClickBank. Some of these people include, but are not limited to, Ben Prater, Joe Vitale, Jeremy Burns and Jim Edwards.

3. Sign up your own ClickBank affiliates

When you sign up with ClickBank as a vendor, you can start recruiting affiliates to sell your product almost immediately. If the other affiliates are receiving commissions from selling your product that means YOU are making money as well. The best thing about this is that you can choose exactly what level of commission you want your affiliates to receive.

4. Refer new clients to ClickBank

You can earn a great deal of money just by promoting ClickBank itself. You can get complete details about this at: http://clickbank.net/reseller.html You won't make millions doing this referral, but it's useful as an additional income stream with commissions that can range between $0.05 and $10.00. When you are trying to make some money, every little bit helps.

5. Promote a ClickBank Storefront

What makes ClickBank's a great program is that ClickBank actually has its own MarketPlace. The Clickbank Marketplace is fairly limited in terms of how functional it is, but various companies offer a 'storefront' for all (or some) of the products listed in it. Also, each one of which will have your ClickBank affiliate nickname attached to it giving you even more exposure.

The idea is that you can promote your own storefront, get commissions from people who visit, and go on to purchase products that are listed. All of these moneymaking possibilities are appealing to all web affiliate marketers.

One of the most powerful link ups that I've seen so far is http://www.CBGold.com, followed by a couple of others you can view for comparison at 1stPromotion.com and ClickbankAffiliates.com. I guarantee that it will be worth your time.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

Paul Colligan

Affiliate marketing is a new twist on an old concept – commission-based sales. At its simplest, it is a partnership between a merchant and a salesperson where the merchant rewards the salesperson, or affiliate, based on some measure of performance – usually a sale, but in some cases for leads or website traffic.

The first mainstream affiliate marketing system on the internet was launched by Amazon.com, offering Amazon "associates" the opportunity to receive a commission for each book they sold for the company. Since then, many thousands of companies have created their own affiliate programs, encouraging online publishers and salespeople to earn commissions through their partnerships.

There are many publishing and sales professionals who are successful affiliate marketers, but they are certainly not the only people participating in the industry. There are also many "amateur" affiliates – people who build a website, or create an online newsletter, or in some cases simply email their friends and recommend a product or service. In many instances, it's no different to recommending a particular brand or store – except that if somebody follows the affiliate's advice, they're rewarded for it.

Affiliate marketing may involve a number of different strategies and techniques, from building entire online storefronts offering the affiliate merchant's products, adding some form of advertisement to an existing website, to something as simple as making recommendations in an email and including a special affiliate link that ensures that the merchant credits them for the sale.

The growth of affiliate marketing is constantly increasing, as new merchants discover the value of increasing the size of their sales force by creating partnerships with online publishers. This is especially true of merchants whose products or services may appeal to a particular niche market. How better to become established within that niche than by working with companies and individuals who already know the market because they're part of it?

Understanding Affiliate Programs.

Author: Sylvia White

Years ago before the internet was born, starting your own
business was like taking a leap into the unknown. It involved
MONEY, TIME, and lots of worry. If you were one of the lucky
ones your business was a success, but many were doomed to
failure.

Now the Internet has evolved, and though many businesses fail
possibly through lack of understanding! no one loses a fortune.

When someone begins the search for a business on which to make
money, it is almost always an affiliate program that catches
their eye, probably because most of them say Free To Join. Yes
they are free to join, but if you are looking to work and make
money it is almost certain that you will have to upgrade and
pay a monthly fee.

Understanding the program. Any good affiliate programs will
have a learning process and you will be told to read and read
again until you understand what is required of you. You should
also have a mentor, that is someone that is there to help you.
He or she will reply to you by email or by messenger, they will
help you through any problems to the best of their ability as
your success means success for them.

The main task of most affiliate programs is to refer others who
will sign up and create your down line. Only those that upgrade
will be of use to you. Once you begin to receive commission
your monthly payment should be taken out automatically thus
leaving you free to build up on your commissions.

How to refer others to your program! This is where many
affiliates fail, the ability to refer is not always easy. If
you can build your own website and work to get it on the
searches it is a great help as this is almost free advertising.
Another way is to traverse other websites and place your ads for
the program on them.

There are many free ad sites which you will find by placing
Free Ad Sites in the search box. Always use a different email
box for this project as you are sure to get lots of spam emails
back, you do not want to fill your usual inbox with spam.
Another way to refer is by using PPC, (pay per click) this can
work out expensive but it does work, you will need a certain
amount of paid sign ups to cover costs. Google is the most
expensive but you can find many cheaper search engines out
there, Overture is good and less expensive.

Once you start getting paid signups you yourself will have to
learn to be a mentor as they are almost certain to require help
of some kind. Do your home work and read up on your program in
between your other jobs, it is surprising how quickly you learn
and find yourself able to answer their questions confidently.

You should now be on the road to earning an adequate income,
you must give your self at least 12 months before expecting
high earnings, it is a slow road but a steady one, usually with
residual income that does come in very handy in your retirement.
